Sean Benjamin emerged as a performer around the campus bars of Ohio State University in the 00s, with a truly unique sound, catchy songwriting and smooth distinct vocals. His influence was blended from the songwriters he looked up to, like Peter Gabriel, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews, Damien Rice and G. Love and Special Sauce, and his experience co-producing R&B and Hip Hop instrumentals, styled after R. Kelly and Ginuwine.
It was not long before the Cleveland native had earned a reputation for being unlike any other guy holding an acoustic guitar. Benjamin put out 7 self-released albums and over 100 songs, in the span of 5 years, before he was signed by an independent label in 2008.

The Ohio-born singer has toured across 2 continents picking up fans from New York to Los Angeles, London to Edinburgh, Tallahassee to Las Vegas and the college towns of the Midwest. His mischievous stage presence and crooner persona brings an element of unpredictability to set lists and style.
